This book consists in a republishing of the theological essays previously included in Theistic Evolution: A Scientific, Philosophical, and Theological Critique. Fred Zaspel’s essay addresses the teaching of B.B. Warfield – the theologian of Old Princeton often assumed to have held to theistic evolution. Zaspel demonstrates from a holistic reading of Warfield that his teaching on creation and related matters that he did not, in fac t, concede the doctrine of creation, and that he held positions throughout his career that are incompatible with any theory of evolution.
